Philly Soft Pretzel Factory featured in The York Daily Record

Philly Pretzel Factory was featured in a recent edition of The York Daily Record in an article titled "Philly Pretzel Factory will give away free soft pretzels Tuesday." The article describes the history of National Pretzel Day, which is on Tuesday April 26, and its roots in Pennsylvania. Greg Mitchell, owner of the Philly Pretzel Factory in Windsor Township, shared his story of opening his store in 2009 – about nine months after retiring from the Pennsylvania State Police. Philly Pretzel Factory will give away free soft pretzels Tuesday

York, PA - Philly Pretzel Factory, 3143 Cape Horn Road, will give away free soft pretzels from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to honor National Pretzel Day.

U.S. Rep. Robert S. Walker declared the unofficial holiday in 1983. It was later re-dedicated in 2003 by Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell.
