Last year on CBS’s Undercover Boss,Marques Chandler was an assistant manager of a Philly Pretzel Factory location. Now he owns his very own franchise.
Dan Dizio, the company’s CEO, went undercover as an entry-level worker at the Broomall, Pa. franchise and Chandler trained him on twisting pretzels, running the cash register and other tasks.

LIVINGSTON, NJ – Its official: the Philly Pretzel Factory has officially opened its doors to Livingston. On April 23, members of the Livingston Chamber, town, and the Business Improvement District joined husband and wife team Peter and Jennifer Rosenblatt and Philly Pretzel Factory Co-Founder and CEO, Dan DiZio in the official ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Philly Pretzel Factory is the world’s largest Philly-style pretzel bakery. All pretzels are hand- twisted and baked on site.

Today is once again the one day of the year devoted to twisted doughy treats, National Pretzel Day.
In honor of the holiday, anyone looking to add a twist to their Friday can do so with a free pretzel from the Philly Pretzel Factory.
With more than 120 stores across the nation participating in the event, even the Saint Clair store at 400 Terry Rich Blvd. in Coal Creek Center will be celebrating the unofficial holiday.
Founded in 1983, National Pretzel Day was created when Rep. Robert S. Walker declared his favorite food was deserving of a holiday.
In April 2003, Gov. Ed Rendell declared the unofficial national holiday.
